OUR COMPANY
Intelligent e-Processes Technologies Corp. (IETC) is a subsidiary of SMC Infrastructure under the conglomerate, San Miguel Corporation.
Our primary purpose is to implement a more effective Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) program and upgrade the Toll Collection and related I.T. system of toll expressways under the SMC Infrastructure banner.
Our core business is centered around the development of I.T. systems which includes the operation, maintenance and management of such systems.

Intelligent E-Processes Technologies Corp. is SMC Infrastructure’s principal IT Company that provides IT solutions and services to SMC Infrastrucutre’s other subsidiaries.
IETC also manages Autosweep RFID, the electronic collection system aimed at providing motorists access and convenience to designated entry and exit lanes along Skyway, Skyway Stage 3, SLEX, NAIAX, STAR Tollway, and TPLEX.

2013
IETC was incorporated under the name of Intelligent e-Solutions Holding Corp (E-Sol) with the primary purpose of addressing the management concerns regarding the current Electronic Toll Collection System (e-Pass)

2015
E-Sol was amended to the current name Intelligent e-Processes Technologies Corp. (IETC)
Migration of e-Pass users to current RFID-based Electronic Toll Collection for the Metro Manila Skyway and the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX)

2016
Over 105k RFID Stickers were distributed for free which translated to a ~37% ETC versus CASH Penetration Rate (e-Pass highest ETC PR was at 18%)

Extended and implemented current ETC to the Southern Tagalog Arterial Road(STAR)Tollway

Developed and implemented a new proprietary Toll Collection software (Autosweep) for the Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway (TPLEX) and also introduced new product: Autosweep-To-Go

Increased subscriber base to over 1.74M and ETC PR to peak of 94% by December 2022

Extended and implemented Autosweep ETC System to the newly operated Metro Manila Skyway Stage 3. Current subscriber base reached over 2.8M as of Feb 2023
OUR PROJECTS
Seamless Southern Tollways
Experience fewer toll stops when traveling via South Luzon Expressway (SLEX), Southern Tagalog Arterial Road (STAR), and Skyway. Toll stops within this carriageway network in South Luzon have been reduced from originally five (5) stops to just two (2). Using our integrated system, disbursement of toll collection to different expressway segment operators and concessionaires is possible.
Handheld Device Implementation
To supplement our current toll collection system, we have also implemented a handheld device to capture RFID transactions within or near our toll plazas. This device enables our toll operators to smoothly record transactions of vehicles in a queue which effectively reduces total wait times and congestion at entry and exit points
Automated License Plate Reader Implementation
Another key component of our system is an advanced high-speed computer-controlled camera system that captures vehicle license plate numbers to verify RFID transaction records. This system acts as a secondary transaction recorder allowing our toll operators to validate transaction disputes and irregularities.
Skyway Stage 3 (Extension)
Recently, we have been directly involved with the opening of the new Skyway Stage 3 particularly on its Toll Collection System (TCS). Similar to other SMC-owned toll roads, this segment has been equipped with our internally developed TCS.
